My Last Words as a Senior

Malachi Johnston, Writer

I’m about to graduate and I honestly can’t believe it. I never envisioned myself ever getting to this point. It honestly felt like school was going to go on forever and it will go on for longer if I decide to go to college which is something that I’m not sure about. Either way I just can’t believe that I’m actually about to graduate. So I’d like to leave behind some final words and messages before I graduate.

First of all I would like to thank all of my teachers for trying their best through this unusual school year. Thanks to my teachers I ended up liking a few classes a lot more than I thought I would going into it. So again I’d like to thank all my teacher’s. Next I’d like to tell all the remaining students that will continue to go to MCS next year. You guys should enjoy your time in school.

I know what a lot of you might be thinking but school is actually not as bad as you might think it is. When you guys graduate you might look back and miss school a little bit. I know I’m gonna miss school and I’d be lying if I told you that I wouldn’t miss it. Also just so you guys know it’s ok to not know what to do after you get out of highschool because most people don’t. So enjoy school while you’re still in it because you might end up missing it.

So that’s all I really have to say. I hope that the future school years turn out a bit better than this one. I hope that the teachers have some good school years as well. I’m going to miss school if I’m being honest. I hope another pandemic doesn’t hit during another year because the last part of this year hasn’t been very good. So I hope that everything goes well.
