Sheryl Brown, Writer

I am happy that I got a chance to go to a great school where I can learn about my Lord and Savior. Also be around the people who love me for who I am and who I am going to be. You might think that this school can be the worst thing that could ever happen to you but for me it’s the greatest thing in the world. You also might think that you wouldn’t belong here but you are wrong if you hang around the right crowd. You will be with the people you were meant to be with. I know from my history that you will come to some hard troubling times that may come to your head that you want to leave or can’t wait. Just because of the people that you’ve been around with made you feel that way. If someone is hurting you in any kind of way just know that there are people who can help you in your situations even when you can’t. Everyone is important in God’s eyes. Class of 2021, I hope that your year will be better than our year. Don’t leave anyone out. Talk to the younger classmen they will look up to you the most. Don’t do what you aren’t supposed to do. Go to all of the events even if you don’t feel you should. This is your year now and I hope you spend it well with your friends, classmates, younger classmen, teachers and staff. I am sad that it took a different route to my last year. I miss everyone that I love and wish it could have ended normally. I miss my second graders and Mrs Killian. This year was my first time being a teacher aid but I always loved helping out my teacher or someone else. When I grew up I didn’t think that my senior year would happen like this. I thought it would happen like my sisters or the alumni before me. But I am taking it just one day at a time. I enjoy being here as long as I can. I will miss everyone at this place and I hope you will have better years to come!
