MCS does a pig roast every year during the fall as a way to bring the community together to have a good time and free food. This year the weather cooperated, and it was held outside. The past two years the pig roast has been held in the multi-purpose room due to the weather. This year it rained for a little bit at the beginning but was sunny and 80 degrees towards the end.

During the pig roast the MCS high school girls and boys soccer teams both had games. This gives the students who attend games some entertainment while they eat their food from the Pig Roast. The boys soccer team played Worthington Christian and loss 4-1. The girls team won their match up against Mapleton 7-0.

At the pig roast they serve pulled pork sandwiches with the option of putting barbecue sauce onto your pulled pork. There was many other sides available such as mac and cheese, pasta salad, fruits and vegetables, and dessert.
